Lifts: 1 T-bar (2000 ft long, later converted to a Poma), 1 rope tow.
Runs: 1
Facilities: base lodge
Operation: 1960-1968, 1982-1990s
This area did very well during its first few years of operation. It opened with 1 rope tow and 1 ski run. That very next year, the area had built a small base lodge. A T-bar built from war surplus items was installed in 1964 to increase uphill capacity. This T-bar was later converted to a poma lift. While the ski area was doing well in 1968, extensive repairs were needed for the Poma to operate for the 1969 season. The area was abandoned as late as 1976 with its lodge still standing. The area first closed in 1968. Grizzly Ridge was back in operation as early as 1982 They were also one of the first ski areas in Utah to allow snowboarding in 1988. The area lost much of its popularity in the late 80s as skiers would travel farther to Park West, Alta, and Snowbird. The area most likely closed following the poor winter of 1990.
