Banks ski hill is most likely a location of the rope tow set up by Claudius Banks. Dinaland ski hill was also set up by Claudius Banks. This ski hill is west of Red Fleet State Park off of Highway 191. He most likely moved one of the rope tows to Dinaland for a winter carnival event. Low elevation most likely contributed to the area’s closure.
